TIGIT (T cell immunoglobulin and ITIM domain), also known as VSig9, Vstm3, or WUCAM, is an inhibitory receptor member of the CD28 family. TIGIT binds to CD155 (PVR or Necl-5) with high affinity and weakly interacts with CD112 (PVRL2, nectin-2). TIGIT also competes with other counterparts, CD266 (DNAM-1) or CD96, to exert its immunosuppressive effects. Learn more: immune checkpoint TIGIT

This is an interesting study that highlights the potential of combining immune checkpoint TIGIT modulation with oral testosterone treatment for men with low testosterone levels. This opens up exciting possibilities not only for hormonal balance but also for enhancing immune responses. Exploring the synergy between these approaches may lead to innovative treatments for men health. However, more research is needed to understand the mechanisms and fully ensure long-term safety and effectiveness.  https://www.rethinktestosterone.com/blog/testosterone-and-immune-health-strengthening-your-defenses-during-flu-season
